GeoStats, Inc.

In an ongoing partnership with GeoStats, Inc., Intrepidsoft is helping to develop GPS-enabled handheld applications that relate to statistical analysis and traffic flow. GeoSurvey is a joint development effort between GeoStats and Intrepidsoft. This application is a survey-taking system with the added feature of GPS point collection built-in to the survey-taking handheld devices. RideCount is a GPS-enabled program for municipalities to assess ridership on their public transportation system. The handheld applications are developed in C++, and the desktop synchronization is developed using C++ and XML.

MDVision

CodeGreen is MDVision's medical practice charge capture application. It allows doctors to accurately record on Palm-powered PDAs all procedures performed for every patient they see throughout the day. Intrepidsoft developed a sophisticated HotSync conduit that synchronizes the appointment, insurance, patient, and charge data on the doctors' Palm devices with the server's database. This conduit ensures that data is never lost, and that multiple Palm devices are kept up-to-date on patient locations and doctors' activities. This conduit makes use of Microsoft Visual C++ and XML for data representation.

Crisis Management International

CMI develops customized Humanitarian Response programs to help organizations deal with traumatic events, such as natural disasters or workplace violence. Their detailed plans provide step-by-step instructions for key personnel, along with critical contact phone numbers such as emergency and law enforcement agencies. Intrepidsoft converted CMI's colorful manual into an intuitive, interactive application for both Palm OS and PocketPC handheld devices. Now, CMI's customers have this improtant information with them at all times... even when they are away from their printed instruction manuals.

NCR Corporation

We worked with NCR on developing and enhancing their retail point-of-service application. This included Consumer Marketing, a program design to enhance shopper loyalty through targeted, electronic promotions. We were also involved with NCR's Self Checkout Terminal (FastLane) solution at many retailers nation wide.

This work involved mixed environments, including: Windows NT, Windows 95, UNIX, DOS, C, and C++.

X-Cel Contacts

Intrepidsoft continues to provide custom mobile software to X-Cel Contacts, a manufacturer of contact lenses. Doctors around the country are using contact lens fitting calculators developed by Intrepidsoft to serve their eye care patients. When Delta Technologies needed to re-train some of their mainframe developers in Windows, C++, and Object Oriented Development, Intrepidsoft provided on-site developer mentoring to bring the development team up-to-speed in the most efficient way possible.

DataPath, Inc.

DataPath, Inc. specializes in the design, provisioning, integration, installation, and test of satellite communications based systems and networks. Intrepidsoft provided custom embedded systems development, delivery, and testing for their new communications redundancy switch.

Mercer University

Faculty and staff at Mercer University's School of Medicine and College of Liberal Arts needed to learn how to develop software for Palm handheld devices. Intrepidsoft custom-designed a four-day training course for Mercer that included all aspects of Palm development: from user interface techniques and coding to conduit development and wireless client/server design. Intrepidsoft went on-site at Mercer to deliver the course, including hands-on lab assignments and student-lead experiments.
